even IF they have NO clue who you are. Basically,
you can be a COMPLETE newbie. As long as you
possess the skills I am about to share with you,
people will BE more than happy to take out their
credit cards.

In the past few weeks, I’ve received a lot of emails
from my readers wanting to know the REAL secrets on
turning their visitors onto potential buyers. They
told me things such as:

-> Monika, even though I got a lot of visitors to
my blog, I am NOT able to get people to subscribe
to my e-newsletter. What Should I do? I have put
up the pop-up screen, include the opt-in form.
Still, no one cares on opting-in.

-> Monika, I heard from a lot of marketers that we
are able to make a lot of money by selling affiliate
products. However, I have DONE whatever it takes to
send traffic to the affiliate products with Traffic
exchanges, guaranteed hits, and even solo ads. YET,
I got NO SALE. What should I do?

You see…

The mistake some marketers make is that they go ahead
and drive the wrong type of traffic. It means they
FAIL to TARGET the needs and wants of their audience.
It also means they FAIL to understand what it is they
need to do to get their visitors to opt-in to their
e-newsletter or product offer.

For example:

Let’s say that you have decided to spend the day doing
a little shopping as you are in need of a new computer.
First of all, you wouldn’t go to a dress shop to find
the computer you are looking for. Absolutely NOT!

Secondly, you are NOT going to go inside every computer
store along the avenue of stores. Instead you do a little
window shopping to decide which of the stores appear to
have what you are looking for.

Since you have NOT yet entered the store, you are
considered a visitor. The same as those people who pass
by your website. However, once you enter the store,
you are now considered a potential prospect.

So what is it the sales clerk does to help you decide
on what is the best computer that will fit what you
want and need to be solve your computer problem?

She knows the problems you are facing with your old
computer as she has been in the computer business for
some time. She tells you what the particular computer
your are looking for, will do for you. She tells you
exactly how it is, you will benefit from getting this
computer now.

Now since you have NOT yet decided it you want to
get it now or wait until you think about it more, she
asks you to give her your name and email address. In
other words, you have  given the sales clerk the permission
to send her information about their services.

What I’m trying to say is this…

You can’t just put up a sales page and expect people
to automatically purchase your product. Instead you
need to FIGURE out what are the problems people are
facing in your industry. Focus on ONE solution that
can help them solve their problems. In other words,
give them a reason for why it is, they need to have
your product NOW.

Think about this for a moment…

>> What is it, that BIG Businesses do to sell 1,000,000′s
of dollars worth of products online everyday?

>> What is it, that TOP Marketers do to get a conversion
rate up to 82% or higher everytime  they recommend
products and services to their audience?

There are simple steps, really.

What is it, Monika?

(A) Targeted Traffic
(B) Conversion

I am NOT referring to JUST any traffic you can purchase
on the internet for a  few bucks. Instead, I am referring
to people who are interested with what you have to offer
to them. For example:

If your target market wants to know how to make an apple
juice, you need to make sure, that your conversion is
focusing on teaching people how to make a good apple
juice for sure.

If your target market wants to know how to get their
ex-girlfriend back, you need to make sure, that your are
going to help them how to get their ex-girlfriend with
the fastest, easiest, and most efficient ways possible.

This is HOW you are able to get the highest conversion
possible for every product and service you offer to
the market. The question is…

“How Do You Get Targeted Traffic?”

-> How do we  make sure, we find the RIGHT audience
for our business?

-> How do we make sure, that those people who go to
our website say “YES” on becoming our subscribers?

-> How do we convince them to say “YES” on getting
those products and services that we recommend to
them?

One word: Squeeze Page.

Now, I am NOT talking about just any squeeze page.
Instead, I am referring to a squeeze page that will
make your audience feel, that IF they don’t get your
offer, though it is free, they will REGRET it the
rest of their life. The question is…

“What is a squeeze page?”

A. The word “Squeeze” means, that I am going to
squeeze you. NOPE, this is NOT a joke. Seriously,
it means that when you get on my website, there
are ONLY two things you need to do:

-> Give me your information.
-> Leave my website.

This is the rule in my business. If you are not
willing  to give me your personal information,
you NEED to leave my website.

>> There will be no negotiation
>> There is no need to tell me, how bad I am.
>> There is no what if…
>> This is a FIXED deal.

It is as simple as that.

B. The word “Page” means, it is only ONE page.
It also means, that before you access any of my
other pages, you need to tell me, WHO you are,
and HOW I can contact you in the future.

So a squeezepage is  a website, especially written
and designed, to give your visitors access to
your gift, for example an e-book, audio, video
or free report, in exchange for their name, email
and telephone number.

HOLD it, right here!

Before you rush out and create ANY page with
ANY gift, there are some CRUTIAL elements,
you need to think about.

“What are you referring to, Monika?”

Look at it, from a visitors point of view. What
goes through YOUR  mind, when you visit a
website for the first time?

Would you ask  yourself things like…

1. Will  this gift HELP me, to  solve my current
problems?

2. Will I benefit in any other way, when I give my
personal information?

3. Will this marketer just spam me?

It is FACT, that people do not come to a website,
to buy the products you offer. People come to a
website, because they are looking for a solution to
a problem they are facing right now.

It is also FACT, that people want to know

“What Is In It For Me (WIIIFM)?

So you need to motivate your visitors, by telling
them EXACTLY, what your main intentions are in
the first place.

This is how your audience will see the NEED
to opt-into your list today.

See, it is not just another page, it is really

>THE PLACE, were you INTRODUCE yourself
and your business visions to your prospect clients.

>THE PLACE, were you MOTIVATE your audience
to opt-into  your list.

>THE PLACE, were you CONVINCE your visitors,
that you have the solution, they are looking for.

> THE PLACE, were you start to BUILD a powerful
RELATIONSHIP by helping to solve their problems.

2) Why do we need a squeeze page?

A squeezepage is not only  the FASTEST and EASIEST
Way, to accumulate subscribers. This Page enables
you to FILTER your list. This is how you create a
group of Followers  rather than  Freebie Seekers.

Now…

I am sure, you heard  that each subscriber you
receive,  is equal to  $1 to $ 1.50  per month for
your business.

Well, this is only true, as long as you  treat each
subscriber right, as well as start building a strong
relationship with each one of them, right from
the beginning.

“Why is this important?”

Customers most likely will not buy from you
the first time, they see your offer. That means,
once they leave your website, they are gone
forever.

This is the exact reason, why you have to make
sure, that you will..

1) Verify the need of your visitors.
2) Ask questions to arouse your visitors curiosity
3) Direct your visitors to the solution.
4) Start to build a relationship by sharing your
     knowledge.

Once you built a relationship with your audience,
and you become a friend of authority, this is, how
you will be able to build your business and take it
to the next level.

Another important factor would be, to use your
squeezepage, to focus on TARGETING the right
audience, rather than focus on traffic only.

You see…

Many marketers say, that you need to build
a HUGE list. The truth is…if your audience is
not someone, who is interested in solving a
certain issue in their life, chances are, that they
will NOT become your customers anyway.

Let’s say, you are building a list in the dating niche.
Now, there are so many different problems, people
are looking to solve. How will you know, wether this
person is looking for a hot girlfriend, or wants to
fix a marriage problem, or  just wants  a date?
You do not!

What I really want to say to you, is, unless you
know your target market from the beginning,
you will not be able to offer the right product
to the people.

“So how do you find out?”

For example…

On your squeeze page, offer ONE single solution on

” How to get a hot girlfriend in 7 days”

Only people looking for a hot girlfriend will see the
need to opt-into your list.

It is as easy as that! :)

Once you understand the Functions of a squeeze page,
you are able  to  UTILIZE this powerful tool, to:

>>Target  potential clients in your niche.
>>Build a  list of strong followers.
>>Establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
>>Seduce  your visitors to become buyers.

Build A Relationship With Your Business Partners First.

When I first started to email- swap with other
marketers, my mentor told me to build a powerful
relationship with them,  as well as offer necessary
HELP  right away.

Seriously…

At the beginning, I didn’t really get it. As I
knew my mentor would not put me onto a wrong
direction, I just followed his guidance’s.

However, as I started to master the principle of
building a powerful relationship with my fellow
marketers, I understood WHY he encouraged me
in the first place. The question you need to
ask yourself is…

“What do you want to achieve
with your business?”

You see…

List Building through email-swapping with other
marketers in the same niche is very popular and
like in every other field, there are the good and
the bad. Some are only interested in selling and
not building a decent subscriber base at all.

So it is in your own interest, to find out, who
you are dealing with, how they conduct their
business and most important, what are they
going to do with your valued subscribers!

Why would I say this?

There are different ways to “meet” marketers
from your niche. This could be through…

a) Forums
b) Chat rooms
c) Adswap-sites
d) Direct approach

Fact is…

When approaching a “new” swap partner, most
marketers only want to know…

-> “How big is your list?”
-> “Can you match clicks?”

Now…

These questions are the right questions to ask,
but definitely not enough to start swapping
your list, because…

Do not forget, that in the beginning, you are
total strangers to each other.

When dealing with people for the first time, it is
crucial for you, to get to know the prospective
partner. Why?

Let me ask you…

“Would you leave your family in the company
of  a total stranger?”

Of course, not!

Remember, your subscribers ARE your family,
treat them with respect and show that you care!

To protect my readers, I subscribe to my swap
partners’ lists first. This allows me, to check
on the following.

a) Is the free gift  providing quality to my
subscribers?

b) Is the gift they advertise matching with the
gift the consumers receive?

Yes, it is a little extra effort, but you can prevent
getting your readers upset, because links are not
working properly.

Let me share something with you, OK? :)

It was in January, when I did a swap with a good
marketing friend. He  had a brand new awesome gift
and I was one of the first marketers to send it
to my readers.

Luckily enough, I had “subscribed” to my own
list, to see, if all emails go out  correctly.
When I checked on everything, it was in the
right order.

However…

On the actual day, I opened up the email
and found out, that there was a problem with
the link, it redirected to an ERROR page.

“Oh, NO, my subscribers!”

Now… it was early morning  and I hoped my
friend was online.  I was really worried about
disappointing  my subscribers.

Something had to happen, and quick!

Fortunately, my partner reacted instantly and
the problem was sorted out within minutes. :)

(Would Strangers do this for each other?)

Here is another example…

One of my swap-partners contacted me on
a Friday night…

“Monika, would you test my new software?”

Of course. I tested it over the weekend and
told her my thoughts. This included a
testimonial on the product.

She was so happy, that I had taken the time to
help and gave me her software for free, to say
thank you and on top of it, she promoted me to
her whole customer base the following day. :)

You see…

Marketers, who understand the principal
of building strong relationships with each
other know, that it is the  most powerful
way to get your business to the next level.

Instead of JUST telling you on how good I
could be for you, let me share with you the
RIGHT way to build your relationship by
simply communicating with your partners, OK?

1) Build relationship right from the start.

Introduce yourself in a friendly, modest manner.
Start asking questions about your prospective
partners business, product, how long he/she
is doing Internet marketing. Show interest!

Ask them to have a look at their free gift and
and give your link as well. Don’t agree to a
swap, if you are not convinced, that it will
help your subscribers.

2) Offer YOUR help.

Once you are confident, that you would like
to do business  with your new contact, and
the ice is broken,ask, if there is anything you
could do for them.

You see…

When you speak to experienced marketers,
their lists will be so much bigger than yours.
It also means, that they could have a work
overload. So you could assist with certain
tasks and trade it for swaps.

Oh, I can hear you say..

“How can a newbie HELP an advanced?”

Just a few examples…

>> Write an article
>> Help with their customer support
>> Proof-read their e-book
>> Preview new products
>> Test new software
>> Give Testimonials

The list goes on and on.

Not everyone wants or needs help right away.
By merely offering your help, people will
respond to you in a positive way. :)

3) Maintain your contacts.

After you did your email-swap, do not
forget to thank your partner. If you are
in skype-contact, it takes 1 minute to
post a thank you note.

I can only tell from my own experience,
but some marketers do not bother about
courtesy, and my partners were even
surprised to hear from me the next day.

(You’ll be amazed by the reactions!)

Let me tell you…

This is, where relationship building
really begins. Once you have mastered
the skill how to communicate, people
will start to trust you and respect you.

And what is most important, you can
be rest assured, that a friend will not
hesitate, to sort out a technical problem,
even if it is 5 o’clock in the morning.

YEAP, that’s all, you have to do! :)
